Project management is a series of activities aimed at achieving established goals within a specified timeframe. It involves planning, creating a schedule of actions, executing individual tasks, and monitoring and financial reporting.
The project manager oversees the work of the project team.
What projects do we manage at ASM?

Projects co-financed by the European Union are managed in accordance with the procedures for their acquisition and implementation.
We implement national projects both independently and in partnerships, and their procedures and financial reporting are monitored by institutions responsible for structural funds in Poland.
International projects are typically carried out in cooperation with organisations from different countries within a consortium managed by the project coordinator. The project coordinator, on behalf of the consortium, signs an agreement with the funding institution and represents the consortium at all stages of project implementation. These projects are acquired and directly monitored by the European Commission.
What does project management encompass?
The role of the project coordinator includes ensuring the project is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the agreement, maintaining ongoing communication with the funding institution and consortium partners, preparing financial and technical reports on project implementation, managing quality and risk in projects, storing project documentation, and effectively disseminating the results of the project being implemented.
What do we contribute to project partnerships?
ASM is open to partnerships with other organizations in the implementation of projects where tasks within ASM’s scope of activities can be carried out.
Within partnerships, we undertake project activities that involve conducting various types of market, social, marketing, and biometric research, as well as business strategies related to product commercialization, promotion, and entry into specific target markets.
In project partnerships we contribute with our know-how in developing optimal project documentation, as well as a professionally equipped technical and operational infrastructure tailored to carrying out ASM’s research tasks in projects.
Do we carry out R&D projects, industrial research and development activities for external clients at ASM?
ASM is a research institution with the status of Research and Development Center. Therefore, we carry out research work at the level of industrial research and development activities for external clients in areas related to ASM’s scope of activities. We also undertake projects in areas beyond our standard operations when we have a team of experts and partners capable of executing the assigned tasks.
Our experience
Over the course of more than 25 years, we have successfully completed 34 complex projects in Poland, including 7 innovative projects. We have over 20 years of experience in carrying out international research and innovation projects, ranging from the 5th Framework Programme to the Horizon Europe programme. We have participated in over 50 international projects, in 10 of them we were consortium coordinator. We collaborate with leading European academic centers, research institutes, and companies.
