HISER
“Holistic innovative solutions for an Efficient Recycling and Recovery of Valuable Raw Materials from Complex Construction and Demolition Waste”
Programme: Horizon 2020
Duration: 01.02.2015 – 31.01.2019
The project will develop an innovative methodology and an intelligent tool (BIM-SD software) to facilitate the collection and processing of data on the type, quality and quantity of construction waste in order to achieve more efficient selective segregation of raw materials during demolition and renovation work. The project will also result in cost-effective technologies used in the production of highly purified secondary raw materials from construction and demolition waste. The project assumes that the new technological solutions will be 20% more efficient than currently available ways of recovering raw materials on the market. In addition, the project will create new energy-efficient construction products based on recovered secondary raw materials (cement, concrete, bricks, drywall). The developed solutions will be tested in several demonstration projects in Europe.
ASM has several key responsibilities in the HISER project:
- Dissemination and Communication: ASM is leading the dissemination and communication activities, including visual identity, managing public relations, design of communication materials, creation and management of the project’s website, presentations to share project outcomes with key stakeholders and the broader public.
- Exploitation strategy and Business Models: ASM is responsible for examination of the market potential for new project results, development of business models, planning the commercial exploitation of the project’s results in the final phase of the project.
